Emergency Care Services
The Emergency Department at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic can serve up to eight patients at any one time, while affording the comfort and privacy expected by medical and behavioral patients alike.
Staffed around the clock by licensed physicians, the unit serves roughly 14,000 patients a year. Its adjacency to the Hospital's Surgical, Acute Care and Intensive Care Units expedites patient transfers while maintaining the highest degree of personal comfort and confidentiality.
Designed to be flexible and patient-centered, the unit includes treatment rooms, areas for urgent care, triage, registration and physician consultation. Separate care areas exist for specialized treatment of traumatic injuries. An adjacent helepad allows for high-acuity transfers to regional trauma centers as needed.
Facilities include specially designed accommodations for psychiatric and addiction patients to ensure their safety, comfort and privacy.
