The Hospital's Board of Trustees is comprised of 16 volunteers from across the Finger Lakes Region. These individuals, representing various businesses and industries, are charged with the overall guidance and stewardship of the organization. The services and programs offered by the Hospital are determined through collaborative efforts of the Board, the Medical Staff and the community at large. Industry benchmarks, government and private sector evaluations and surveys are used to gauge the Hospital's success in its commitment providing services that are clinically excellent, professionally prudent and personally respectful of our patients, volunteers and staff.
We are proud to be part of a culture of firsts; the first hospital founded in the region (in 1850), the first American hospital to maintain an open ward psychiatric unit and one of the first to operate a Hyperbaric Chamber (for care of chronic wounds). We hope that you find our services convenient, comprehensive and attentive to your personal needs.
